What are the 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles?
 

The 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles are a personal display system that combines two LCD microdisplays, stereovision 3D capabilities, stereo audio and ear bud head phones. With no clumsy head gear, the unit weighs in at only 6.4 ounces, allowing for extended wear time without bothering your neck. It can also be used as a display sytem for your computer or to watch DVDs from your computer.

The 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles are capable of producing a VGA resolution of 800x600 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

 

Are the 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles compatible with Playstation 2, X Box, or Game Cube?
 

The viewing function is compatible but not the 3D funtionality.

 

How do the 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles connect to my computer?
 

The 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles connect to the computer through a VGA cable (which is included) that is connected exactly to the place where you would connect your computer monitor.

 

Which version of Windows is compatible with the 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles?
 

Windows XP is currently the only version compatible.

 

Can the 3-D Virtual Reality Goggles be used in an MRI Machine?
 

Currently, due to the magnetic components of the Goggles, they cannot be used in an MRI.

 

What graphics card will I need?
  As of right now, only the NVIDIA graphics cards are capable of supporting stereoscopic functionality. Check with NVIDIA to make sure your version is compatible (the GE Force 6200 is compatible).
Will all of my games become 3D?
  Many of the games out now have 3D stereovision compatibility, and will produce 3D effects. This compatibility is usually not displayed on the packaging. It is recommended to download a demo version of the game or contact the manufacturer to see if it supports 3D. Examples of compatible games are: Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004, Painkiller, Half-Life 2 and America's Army.
